DJ Prashant was one of HIGHLIGHT of our Indian+Western wedding and we were so glad to have made the decision to work with him to curate our Sangeet. If you care about your guests having an immersive, engaging experience, welcomed (especially folks that have not attended Indian events), and making sure everyone is fully present, and bringing celebration to life, hiring Prashant and his team is money well spent. Since the wedding, we have had many guests bring up how amazing Prashant was (and continue to do so 3 months since the wedding), his energy, his ability to engaging with the guests, teach them Bollywood dance moved during the set, and curating an incredible playlist that kept the dancing going throughout the Sangeet. More than half of the guest that attended our Sangeet hadn’t been to an Indian event and it really helped having Prashant MC the event, announce what was coming next and create a fun/energetic atmosphere for our guest.
Prashant was very responsive (even during his travels) and flexible to schedule prep meetings for us to brainstorm the Sangeet, timeline and took great notes to capture our feedback. What I appreciated about Prashant was that he led these meeting by asking us the vibe and aesthetic my wife and I were looking for, shared some examples of Sangeet event he had DJ from his social media, and guided us through the timeline and structure for the event (selection of the entry song and guest formation, group dances, playlist for when folks are having dinner, options to have Prashant engage with guest to teach them Bollywood moves, etc.). This process was very collaborated and each meeting with Prashant got us really hyped for Sangeet. I also appreciate Prashant asking for us to share our favorite songs, and playlist (Bollywood, Punjabi, Salsa, and western music) to have a good baseline to start with. We also loved the music/mixes he added to his set.
Prashant and his team were outstanding and I would highlight recommend hiring them for your events.
The important part, though — we hired DJ Prashant and his team to drop bangers, keep the mix strong, and to curate vibes on the dance floor. DJ Prashant absolutely killed this. He seamlessly mixed Hindi and Western music, kept the beats danceable, fun, and approachable, and played tracks that kept all of our guests dancing all night. I was shocked by how many of our friends came up to us during and after the wedding to tell us that “that was the best wedding party they’ve been to,” and a number of them asked for his contact info so that they could reach out to him for future events of their own.
We had a truly great experience with DJ Prashant and his team, and we’re grateful they were part of our wedding. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this team to anyone.
We had an amazing experience with DJ Prashant and his team for our event in Seattle! From the very beginning, during our intro Zoom call, we expressed that we wanted a party that was both entertaining and memorable, and they truly delivered on both fronts. The way DJ Prashant seamlessly mixed and merged different songs throughout the night was incredible, keeping everyone on the dance floor and leaving us all wanting more.
What really stood out was how he managed to get even those who usually don’t dance up on their feet, thanks to his engaging presence and perfect song choices. We especially loved the American/Bollywood mixes! In fact, we enjoyed the music so much that we downloaded the entire raw video of the dance party and now play it on long car drives, reminiscing about the fantastic time we had.
DJ Prashant was also so open to our unique ideas, like our crazy dance-off and sing-off concept, which brought so much energy, healthy competition, and laughter to the room. Everything flowed smoothly, thanks to his professionalism and interactive style. Whether he was guiding everyone through dance moves from the stage or joining us on the dance floor, he made sure everyone was having a great time.
The visuals in the background were beyond our expectations. Playing the song and video simultaneously was such a creative touch! It was especially fun to see some of our American friends trying to follow along with the video – it was adorable!
We also appreciated DJ Prashant’s willingness to go above and beyond in the planning process, meeting with us multiple times to ensure everything was just right. The detailed word document he maintained kept us all on the same page and aligned with our expectations. Throughout the evening, DJ Prashant brought incredible energy and kept a close pulse on the crowd, ensuring the vibe was always perfect.
Ayana’s recap of the event was absolutely amazing! We can’t stop replaying it, and even our three boys thought it was super cool. Friends who missed the party now have serious FOMO thanks to the way she captured everything so beautifully. Her attention to detail and the inclusion of almost all our guests made us feel so grateful. Watching the raw video footage and seeing everyone’s happy faces brought us so much joy!
Our guests also had glowing feedback. They mentioned the non-stop entertainment, how they were sore from all the dancing, and how they danced for four hours straight! Many commented on how memorable the evening was. Some even wanted to take DJ Prashant to all their dance parties! The photographer was also a hit, charming everyone with her singing and dancing along – it was impressive how she knew all the words to the Hindi songs!
Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. DJ Prashant and his team made our event truly unforgettable, and we can’t recommend them enough!
Different couples have different priorities for their wedding day. For us, having a best-in-class DJ & MC was near the top of the list. We’d seen Prashant perform before and knew there was no one else we wanted. About a year out we booked Bollywood Dreams Entertainment for DJ/MC services plus photography and video.
From the start, Prashant and Ayana were organized, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. We even rented ceremony and reception sound equipment through them, and Prashant helped craft the wedding-day schedule.
On the big day, the whole team exceeded expectations. Ayana and Ju arrived early to capture beautiful getting-ready photos, while Prashant and crew set up sound seamlessly. The ceremony audio was flawless. And when the reception began, Prashant absolutely shined – his energy as MC and skill as DJ kept the dance floor packed all night. Many guests told us he was the best wedding DJ they’d ever experienced.
While Prashant was our initial reason for booking, Ayana and Ju’s photography was equally outstanding. We shared inspiration images beforehand, and they delivered those and so much more, capturing moments beyond what we imagined.
Everyone on the Bollywood Dreams team is genuinely kind and professional, and we loved sharing our day with them. Though they specialize in Indian weddings and events, they adapted perfectly to our non-Indian celebration.
